V tem \u010dlanku so sistemati\u010dno analizirane osnovne zna\u010dilnosti materialov PA, kot sta natezna trdnost (\uff1e60MPa) in koeficient odpornosti proti obrabi (0,15-0,4), primerjana je njihova stro\u0161kovna u\u010dinkovitost s kovinskimi materiali, z laboratorijskimi podatki podjetja DuPont pa je razkrit mehanizem vpliva stopnje absorpcije vode (nasi\u010dena 8%) na zmogljivost.
